SBP Lighting at the XX Olympic winter games - Torino 2006
SBP has floodlit the Cesana Pariol - Bobsleigh, Skeleton and Luge course,with the following technical data : 1.435 m. length, 114 metre differencein height and with a 7.000 spectator capacity along the course.
The maximum running speed is approximately 130 Km/h.
SBP obtained impressive lighting and uniformity levels, employing 541 RAY fittings 1000W and 2000W with 15°, 34°and 60° optics, positioned on 65masts of 10 to 12 metres height.
- Average vertical lighting values towards the cameras (42 amongsteady and mobile): 1750 lux.
- Minumum vertical lighting value: 1400 lux
- Maximum vertical lighting value: 2000 lux
- General uniformity level : 0,80
After the Olympics, the venue will remain open to the public, who willenjoy the three different circuits: "Junior", "Practice" and "Kids".
