Hedo: public area lighting

The ever increasing demand for energy saving and zero upward light
pollution in public area lighting has led us to develop the new HEDO
fitting.

HEDO is a pole top luminaire suitable for gardens, parks, residential, public area, path / walkways and car park lighting.

ENERGY SAVING / FLEXIBILITY

HEDO utilise high efficiency light sources up to 83 Lm/W and energy efficient class A2 electronic control gear.
Hedo is suitable for use with a combination of one, two or three T5 circular fluorescent lamps.
Available as 22W for inner circle, 40W or 55W for middle circle, and 60W for outer circle. The combination of lamps provides a power consumption of between 22W to 137W and a light flux of 1800 to 11000 lumens. The possibility of circuit switching combinations of lamps at different times provides options for energy savings.

LIGHTING POLLUTION

HEDO full cut-off optic is designed to comply with regulations in areas sensitive to upward light pollution.
Broad distribution (Imax /2 = 2x68°) with good uniformity provides an efficient spacing for area lighting.
Diffuser with internal prisms obscure lamp whilst providing high direct visual comfort.

RETROFIT

HEDO can quickly and easily be installed as a convenient retrofit replacement, to old inefficient upward light polluting luminaires (e.g. spheres), for use on existing poles. Hedo fittings are suitable for mounting on Ø60-76mm pole tops.
Pole head anchoring device, available as an accessory, has a safe and fast expansion system from a non visible single point screw.
